I reported a bug similar to this a while ago, and after a firmware
upgrade (see below) it was fixed. Recently the stuck keys and the syslog
spam about keycode e03e have come back.

sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

As above, it stops when the screen is flipped.
