Public bug reported: I created a bootable thumb drive from kubuntu-15.04-beta1-desktop- amd64.iso (using usb-creator-gtk on an Ubuntu 14.04.2 system) and used it to boot an HP EliteBook 8440p.
The HP displayed the message Missing parameter in configuration file. Keyword: path and then repeatedly displayed gfxboot.c32: not a COM32R image boot: I entered the command "help", and then Enter after the help menu displayed. This lead to successful a start-up.
