I seem to (in Ubuntu Gutsy development version) be experiencing this
problem again. I'll try to provide as much information as possible.

I'm sure there's some kind of command to see this too, but I don't know it ;-)
The boot loader is Grub, by the way.

I'll check on next boot if my BIOS setup has 'Logical Block Adressing'
activated.

/media/sda1 turned out to be a 'Norton Ghost' partition, so I can reinstall 
Windows.
/media/sda2 and sda5 are Windows partitions.
