I just upgraded my laptop's burner from a Matshita DVD-R to a Matshita DVD+/-
RW DL. I could burn DVD-R but now I cannot I found another thread regarding
this and tried the "http://cdrecord.berlios.de/"; link above and installed but
no help. I get the
"mkisofs: Directories too deep for
'brianokeefe/.gconf/desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/host-ubuntu/0' (7) max
is 6.
:-( write failed: Input/output error"
in GnomeBaker and K3b gave me a "255 error" which may have something to do with
permissions from what I have tracked down though I got it even running K3b as
root so.....
K3b sees the drive and correctly shows all the media supported.
I was able to burn a cd.
