Looks like it pretty old but also affects me. Some details: Lenovo G50-45 laptop. 3.13.0-46-generic #77-Ubuntu SMP Mon Mar 2 18:23:39 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Sound delayed and some echo played when I changes sound volume. Only reboot helps to fix it but only for some time. Usually sound breaks when I change volume level using Fn keys.
