Public bug reported: I'm running a Gutsy T5 installed to HDD (which was updated in synaptic a couple of hours ago). For this computer (it's a laptop)I have an USB wired mouse (it's a Microsoft IntelliExplorer 3.0 mouse).
Every time I reboot my Ubuntu the mouse stops working (the touchpad on the actual laptop still works though. What I typically do is that I disconnect the USB mouse and then reconnect it again. This always fixed the problem right away. I'd be happy to provide any information you need to debug this problem. Here's the kernel version from uname -a for starters: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ uname -a Linux gutsyT5 2.6.22-11-generic #1 SMP Fri Sep 7 05:07:05 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- wired usb mouse stops working on reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/140541 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
