Public bug reported:
To reproduce rip a cd with asunder and save an m3u playlist file then
open that playlist in gnome-mplayer. Then when you do not have gnome-
mplayer open and it switches to a new song two notifications will
appear.

I expected one notifcation when a new song came on the playlist instead I got
two which isn't good.
