Public bug reported:
The current beta1 and daily build Ubuntu Mate Vervet images fail to
install the bootloader. The current (daily) main Ubuntu installer does
not fail. This bug report contains the details for the current daily
build image that resembles the main installer the most.
Platform in question is VMware Fusion, virtual hardware version 11. Disk
is otherwise available, paritions were created properly.
The only extra option used during install was LVM but it also fails
without selecting LVM.
