Public bug reported:
I am running KeePass Password Safe v. 2.25.
Whenever I try open a .kdbx file I am told the Master password is out of
date and needs to be updated. I do this and save the file, but when I
reopen the file the same message is delivered.
I am certain the file is saved with the new password because I can open
it on other systems with the updated credentials. this problem occurs
with newly created databases as well.
There is, additionally no way to bypass the master password update
dialogue.
