I've changed my position on this a little: auto-sync in practice copes most of the time, and most users only need a way to get to a single corresponding SPPH, so I think it's better to just introduce BPPH.getPublishedSource() rather than complicating things for a rare corner case.
It looks like I need this as part of the ddeb-retriever work I'm doing at the moment (or, at least, it's probably going to be rather complicated and slow to work around not having this), so I'll take it. ** Changed in: launchpad Status: Triaged => In Progress ** Changed in: launchpad Assignee: (unassigned) => Colin Watson (cjwatson) ** No longer affects: python-launchpadlib (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/597041 Title: No way to get from binary package to source package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/597041/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
