On my Macboook Pro 11,1 mtrack does on work in trusty 14.04.2

Do not see mouse pointer.

Here is what I did:
 sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-mtrack-lts-trusty 
sudo apt-get remove --purge xserver-xorg-input-synaptics-lts-*

Used the following mtouch conf file:
