Public bug reported:

I have found that blender crashes when the segments of a just added UV
sphere are changed and when trying to set an environment map in the
material panel.

These bugs can be reproduced by adding an UV sphere and change the
segments in the left and opening blender en go to the materials of the
starting cube and trying to set an environment map in textures and go to
the environment map section of the textures panel and clicking on
"image" tab of it.
