Hi Basilio

I am not able to hear myself on my speakers. I ran the to commands you
gave, and still no mic working. I tried to run Ekiga's Configuration
Druid and in its page 6/10 I chose ALSA (as there was no other option)
and in page 7/10 first chose "Intel ICH6" for input and output device,
got "Failed to open the device" error when clicked at "Test Settings";
changed devices to "Default" and clicked "Test Settings" again - this
time test runs, but I can not hear my voice. Mic boost makes the bar
longer in the signal level meter of the Audio test dialog, but my voice
has no effect on it.

I also tried to record by Audacity (1.2.6-0ubuntu1). There are more
options for playback and recording devices, but it complains about other
devices than "ALSA: default" and "OSS: /dev/dsp" for recoding, when I
try to record. Anyway, I can not get my voice recorded. (I am not expert
in using Audacity.)

I still get the same output, if I run qamix in terminal.
