changed back to new just in case someone fancy looking at it.
hardware is unchanged since last time (although i am occasionally connecting an
iriver to the usb hub, it wasn't connected on this last crash, but it was
connected some minutes before the crash. since the crashes are so random it's
difficult to say whether the iriver causes them, but given that this has
happened before i doubt it).
