Public bug reported:

Hi,

I'm using a fresh installation of kubuntu 15.04 on a laptop with an external
keyboard.
My system is installed in english but I'm using french keyboards.
When I enter my password in sddm with the laptop internal keyboard it works ok.
However, when I use the external keyboard then I have to type the password as
if the keyword was a qwerty one. Nothing critical but it is annoying.

Maybe is a bug in the kubuntu installer.
Here there a way to tell sddm that both keyboards are french ones? Does it
correlates with locales? or with the kde keyboards layaouts??
