You have been subscribed to a public bug: I just plugged a brand new SIM card in my device, and after entering my PIN I got greeted by a class-0 SMS from the operator. I opened the messaging indicator to read it in full, expanded the message, then taped on the top-right corner icon to open it in the messaging app’s conversation view. The conversation view opened, but it was empty, the message wasn’t there.
According to Tiago, class-0 SMS are not supposed to be stored. In that case, I would suggest not allowing opening the messaging app from the expanded message in the indicator, as the user would expect the message to open there. ** Affects: telephony-service (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Class-0 SMS allow opening the messaging app from the indicator, but don’t appear there https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1354472 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
