Public bug reported:

Plasmashell freeze after typing a web adress in kickoff or krunner e.g.
www.google.de if a (valid) proxy is set in <system settings>-<network>.

It does not matter which proxy type was selected: Automatic, system
proxy, proxy url, manually.

If no proxy was selected, plasmashell doesn't freeze after typing a
webadress: My default browser opens with an information page from our
company, that I use wrong proxy settings.

Note, my default browser (Konqueror) can detect the proxy, if I open direct
Konqueror and then typing the adress in the url bar.
Because plasmashell use the settings from this config file:
~/.config/kioslaverc
Konqueror use the settings from this config file:
~/.kde/share/config/kioslaverc

So you see that the proxy configuration for old KDE4 applications works.
However, plasma 5 (plasma shell) can no longer connect to the proxy (no
matter what configuration has been selected) and crashes when calling a
web address.
