Public bug reported: The systemd KCM won't start after installation, as shown below: ➜ antonis@ira ~ kcmshell5 systemd kf5.kservice.sycoca: Trying to open ksycoca from "/home/antonis/.cache/ksycoca5" kf5.kiconthemes: "Theme tree: (Breeze)" Error loading plugin "kcm_systemd" "The shared library was not found." Plugin search paths are ("/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins", "/usr/bin") The environment variable QT_PLUGIN_PATH might be not correctly set Error loading plugin: "The shared library was not found." ➜ antonis@ira ~ A temporary workaround is: sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/plugins/kcm_systemd.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins/kcm_systemd.so after which the KCM can start properly.
