Yeap, it builds fine on my machine: $ sudo dkms build -m nvidia-331 -v 331.113 -k 3.13.0-53-generic

DKMS: build completed. And btw, I guess I made a stupid mistake for which I do apologize - chose wrong LP bug report. My original issue was related to the fact that nvidia 331.113-0ubuntu0.0.4 fails to build against the upcoming (already present in -proposed) linux-image-generic-lts-vivid kernel, which is 3.19. This bug is about nvidia-331-updates 331.38-0ubuntu3 which, as far as I am aware, can be easily upgraded to the official 331.113-0ubuntu0.0.4 by enabling trusty-updates repo and it builds against 3.13 just fine: deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-updates main restricted -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1268257 Title: nvidia-331-updates 331.38-0ubuntu3: nvidia-331-updates kernel module failed to build, with only error: "objdump: '... .tmp_nv.o': No such file" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nvidia-drivers-ubuntu/+bug/1268257/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
