if you are using 0.2.14+, then you can send $kill -SIGUSR2 `pidof beagled-helper` which will print the name of the file beagled-helper is stuck at in the log file ~/.beagle/Log/current-IndexHelper (from http://beagle-project.org/Troubleshooting_CPU)
