There is a problem with kernel slowly booting 2.6.22-11-generic on Ubuntu 7.10 tribe 5. kernel booting with 2.6.22-10-generic boots quickly.
The bug also affects, Ubuntu 7.04 release. It seems to get stuck on the ubuntu opening load screen. The machine is a Dell Optiplex gx150. It eventually drops into BusyBox and says can't access tty, job control off.
