Public bug reported: The pidgin application seems to work perfectly aside from the system tray icon. It never shows up no matter if I disable/re-enable it in the pidgin preferences/settings. I saw that others were having an issue with the tray icon being blank but, in this case, the icon doesn't exist at all (not even a blank space in the systray).
