Public bug reported: Binary package hint: iptables
The version of iptables in Ubuntu (up to and including 7.10) seems to be missing some modules and extensions. I specifically require the statistic module, which is included in Debian Etch (1.3.6.0debian1-5), but not in Gutsy (1.3.6.0debian1-5ubuntu5). Could you explain the reasons for leaving out these modules please? I'm sure other people writing complex firewall rules would also like to see these included in the Ubuntu distribution.
