Fix tested and confirmed in Ubuntu 12.04 Precise. Before, I reproducibly ran into this bug when saving a data: URL from a Firefox-based webapp to a local file using the normal Firefox download dialog. I installed the Precise update from the normal Precise update package repositories. I save now, and I do not see the 100% CPU usage anymore. Bug fixed.
