solved it was a LXDE problem , as soon as i recognized this i could get a work around .
Problem : with the new user(blabla) not plugged in on a physical monitor , and first running xrdp there was a .cache folder . but it was completly empty . Solution : i just copied the "pi" user /home/pi/.cache folder to /home/blabla/.cache i did it complete in terminal because i was unsure if the lxde should be not started. (and getting root in raspbian gui is grr) now the flickering is gone. and XRDP is working with the blabla user . i know its not the clean solution but fast , working. if anyone has "the clean linux" solution. and it ONLY works if u got a working profile /account desktop which u can copy the files from. command for solution : sudo cp -r -v /home/pi/.cache /home/blabla/.cache tags: Flickering , blinking , flashing blinken with XRDP remote desktop , new user -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/375755 Title: 9.04: xrdp 0.4 + vnc4server results in flashing screen on login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xrdp/+bug/375755/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
