Normally after running any native KDE application particularly Dolphin the Plasma desktop freezes soon after closing a Dolphin window or a suspend/resume cycle. The other application windows remain active. Clearing ~/.cache made some apparent improvement for a while but changing the compositing type to OpenGL 3.1 and QT graphics system to Raster seem now to be stable.
