Except it's not really THAT bug. Restricted manager is offering me the choice of a driver (nvidia-gxl) that will NOT work with this card, it might as well be offering me the use of the ATI driver. If I install nvidia-glx rather than nvidia-glx-legacy, I will end up with a system than can't be started.
