to make a persistent /root, I'd usually like to rm -rf /root and make it a symlink to somewhere on the harddrive, when I run with the Ubuntu Studio 15.10 (Wily Werewolf) Daily Build, it just crashed the kernel, this crash didn't happen of my last visit ubuntu14.10 http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/ubuntustudio/dvd/current/ (current is 28-Jun-2015 as the time now) then I can reproduce this within VM,
