Public bug reported: Currently using Xubuntu 15.05 Vivid.
Attempting to use a laptop/tablet hybrid 64-bit Intel machine in tablet mode (with onscreen keyboard.) Virtual keyboards work fine for all other programs. Both vncviewer (vnc4) from the repositories AND replacing with tigervnc branched package fails to accept input from onboard or florence virtual keyboards. Mouse movement works as expected. Interestingly enough, when using the "right-click" or "Double click" feature of onboard, it is properly transmitted. ** Affects: vnc4 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1471345 Title: Vnc client won't take input from onboard or other virtual keyboards To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vnc4/+bug/1471345/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
