I've noticed this also interferes sometimes with automated power testing. For example, these two test runs were invalid because of the NM bug: http://people.canonical.com/~platform-qa/power-results/2015-07-09_21:38:21-arale-55-power_usage_idle/8/ http://people.canonical.com/~platform-qa/power-results/2015-07-16_23:25:17-arale-61-power_usage_display_on/2/
The more recent one has more logs and thus might have more useful information. I've seen this bug on every NetworkManager-based system I've ever tried, not just Ubuntu, and it has been one of my top reasons for not using NetworkManager. It's really unfortunate that the bug made it all the way to the Ubuntu phone, after not getting fixed for approximately a decade. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1453289 Title: network-manager asks for passwords it already knows To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-network/+bug/1453289/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
