Yes, we should file the bug upstream to LyX. Deciding whether to file a
bug on Ubuntu's bug system or the upstream bug system is a matter of
where you think the fix should be made and who you think should make the
fix. In this case, it makes sense for the LyX developers to make any
fix, because they know the code the best and because the fix is
applicable to all operating systems, not just Ubuntu.
