I am changing this to confirmed because it was evidently was not fixed.
Upon a fresh install of gutsy from a daily build (20070921.1) "apt-get
remove evolution" removes all occurrences in the menus accept for the
"Applications/Office" menu.

Status: Fix Released => Confirmed

Desktop pulldown "Applications/Office" has reference to "Evolution" after I
removed Evolution
