It seems like your /etc/default/grub file was edited incorrectly or was
otherwise corrupted (from the dpkg terminal log):

  /etc/default/grub: line 11: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT: command not found
  run-parts: /etc/kernel/postinst.d/zz-update-grub exited with return code 127

Seeing what's gone wrong there and correcting should at least get you
unstuck.
