I am using HP ZBook 15 procured in 2013. It is a dual-boot machine: Windows 7 + Linux. The problem began after reinstallation of linux: - shutdown worked with LinuxMint 17 - shutdown does not work with Ubuntu-MATE 15.04
If I want to poweroff I have to reboot to Windows and issue the shutdown command from Windows.
