In between I strengthen the cooling, so mainboard is not alarming any
more in such situations but I still get this issue, a not reacting
system with CPU's at 100%.

I guess the main info got lost now in time:
I can't force this error!

It can take even weeks without it, but some times I get it and have no
clue why.

That's why I called it a 'hen and egg' problem, as I do need Nvidia
proprietary drivers, else I can't use the system and ergo can't have the
problem verified some day..

No idea how to solve, would need a working nvidia module for the
upstream kernel to proove it :(

Is there no other way to debug the irqpoll setting?

Isn't it possible to have the kernel running in debug mode for IRQ
handling and have that logged?

Best regards
Florian
