Public bug reported:

After the latest update, unity-tweak-tool refuses to open and fails with
the message:

Missing Schemas
"org.gnome.settings-daemon.peripherals.touchpad"

Screenshot attached.

What I tried without success:

- Reinstalled gsettings-desktop-schemas and gnome-settings-daemon-schemas
- Followed this answer[1]*
- Purged and reinstalled unity-tweak-tool

I'm not sure if the actual problem is caused because of unity-tweak-tool
or any other package (eg gnome-settings-daemon-schemas) or because of a
misconfiguration somewhere else.

I discovered first in unity-tweak-tool, also I didn't notice the same
problem in other packages.

* after I followed the answer above the initial message disappeared but
another one took its place about missing schemas for "unity.webapps"
