Public bug reported:
After checking for software updates in Settings a page appears if there
are no updates. The page persists and could last for weeks.
It would be more elegant if the page dismisses automatically after a few
seconds. A new user might think that it was still checking in the
background and not finding any updates.
Alternatively, it could be rendered as a notification instead of a page.
Not as elegant though.
