Public bug reported:

[Availability]
The package is available in universe and builds on all architectures.

[Rationale]
libpagemaker is an optional (build-)dependency of libreoffice.

[Security]
There are no open security advisories.
The package does not ship executables that could be in /sbin, /usr/sbin, or
have the suid or sgid bit set.

However, this package is likely to treat application data for
conversion, which may be affected by issues (and there have been
security advisories for that application in the past). It may be
relevant to do a proper security audit.

[Quality assurance]
The package satisfies requirements:
 - It is reasonably easy to make use of it -- libreoffice can be relatively
easily changed to enable building against it.
 - Does not ask debconf questions
 - There are no long-term outstanding bugs.
 - Bug tracker status is acceptable. Some bugs have recently been fixed; the
remaining bug in BTS is I/N, about enabling parallel builds.
 - Is appropriately maintained in Debian.
 - The package does not appear to have a test suite.

[UI standards]
Not applicable.

[Dependencies]
All build and binary dependencies are already in main.

[Standards compliance]
There are a number of trivial fixes that should be applied:
 - bad spacing in debian/copyright confuses lintian in thinking there is no
copyright data for all files.
 - missing separator (,) before ${misc:Depends} in debian/control for
libpagemaker-0.0-0v5 transitional package.
 - standard-version could be bumped as well while the above changes are made.

Additionally:
E: libpagemaker-0.0-0:
symbols-file-contains-current-version-with-debian-revision on symbol
_ZNSt22__uninitialized_fill_nILb0EE15__uninit_fill_nIPN5boost2io6detail11format_itemIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEEEmS9_EET_SB_T0_RKT1_@Base
 and 1 others

May be fixable at the same time as the other fixes above are applied.

[Maintenance]
Given the low complexity of the package, it seems appropriate to keep it in
sync as much as possible with Debian. This is a dependency of a core package in
Ubuntu (libreoffice), and therefore might benefit from regular looking after by
the team responsible for libreoffice.

Note that the package is not currently in sync, but tends to not change
very much, so this is not expected to be an issue.

[Background information]
libpagemaker is library providing ability to interpret and import
Adobe PageMaker documents into various applications.
