PPA build was OK. I'll sponsor these now. I think the cause of the local build failure is I have libxml2-utils installed. Config.kmk finds /usr/bin/xmllint and sets VBOX_HAVE_XMLLINT. In doc/manual/Makefile.kmk it tries to validate the manual and fails.
