The upstream bug about lv_LV switching to the Euro is interesting: https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16374.
The situation with lt_LT is very similar, only we got the Euro one year later. Same legacy 8-bit charset (ISO-8859-13 has no Euro), but everyone uses UTF-8 now, right? Anyway, the upstream bug for lv_LV is still unresolved, despite a long discussion that seemed to end with a consensus and a posted patch. I'll file a bug for lt_LT. ** Bug watch added: Sourceware.org Bugzilla #16374 http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16374 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1494715 Title: lt_LT should use the Euro To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/langpack-locales/+bug/1494715/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
