@luvr as i've said, i only use gnome (ubuntu) as there is too much issues with the other flavours, at least for the past months/years (yes i also test them to know if that become better, but always have been desapointed)
with my ubuntu installation that "libgdk-pixbuf2-dev" package is not installed.
