The original modemmanager 1.4.10-1 can work for Sierra DW5809e (EM7305). The mobile broadband connection behavior on wily works differently from trusty. Trusty uses wwan0 and it needs the gateway for some ISPs. Wily setups ppp0 and it doesn't need the gateway.
