Sorry for the delay. I am still working up the nerve to update my BIOS.
In the meantime, I thought it might be useful if I mentioned that the
most recent set of updates I got broke this for kernel version 3.13.0-59
as well, I luckily still had -58 which is working. If you want me to
tell you exactly which updates then I would appreciate a pointer to
information on how to extract that information from the package manager.
It was the updates from the last weekend. Downloaded sometime on Monday
Sept 28 after not having internet since the Friday before (Sept 25). I
remember that it included a kernel package, as well as packages labeled
for nvidia, both 340 and 331.
