More good news, the fix is included in guake 0.7.2-1 which is available
in Ubuntu Wily, so I believe this can be marked as fix released.
(The only remaining instance is that --show-hide is mentioned in the
summary of the manpage. However, this too has been resolved upstream and
is rather minor since the option is not mentioned in the main text
anymore.)
