Public bug reported: Observed keyboard hotkey behaviour:
- don't work with audio files with regular users or using sudo - work perfectly with video files with regular users - don't work with video files when using the -novideo option Expected behaviour: - should always work, for all types of (supported) files Other notes: - up to relatively recently (1 month?), everything was fine - it may have something to do with window focus (mplayer creates a new window for video files...) - the following messages are always displayed, regardless of the -novideo option: "Cannot open file '/home/tna/.mplayer/input.conf': No such file or directory Failed to open /home/tna/.mplayer/input.conf. Cannot open file '/etc/mplayer/input.conf': No such file or directory Failed to open /etc/mplayer/input.conf." I'm on Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit. ** Affects: mplayer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1507224 Title: mplayer keyboard controls don't work with audio files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mplayer/+bug/1507224/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
