Public bug reported:

This is happening a few seconds after X starts - i can see the mouse
pointer for a second then display goes to sleep.

Switching with Ctrl-Alt-F1 then back to Ctrl-Alt-F7 wakes it back up.

Only happens on first boot, not on resume.
