Sorry, Christopher, the BIOS update made no difference. After a few seconds to a minute or two the graphics are covered with horizontal lines obscuring the screen same as the other bloke's screen shot. I think navigating the LXDE menu seems to trigger the behaviour, or not. The GUI eventually may crash to a black screen. Only resort is to ctrl-alt-F[x] switch to a command line interface terminal. Something weird about the new Ubuntu kernels which is not in the new Debian Sid 4.2 or the previous 3.19 Ubuntu kernel.. On 25 October 2015 at 07:51, Christopher M.
