Sorry for the confusion regarding the package, this is my first bug file . I understand that its not related to the release upgrade software but couldnt find a better option in the ubuntu-bug screen. It wouldnt let me submit with the "other problem" option.
Also tried sudo service networking restart, but that didnt help.
