This bug is still present and not fixed for me and several other people (for example http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=194447)
I did a clean install of kodibuntu (lubuntu 14.04) and had this error. I use LVM and installed the OS on a SSD in AHCI mode. It's annoying, but the system continues after a few seconds. I would like to have this problem fixed because I have a slow resume of my monitor after suspend.
