I was going to say, we can't just turn off Wi-Fi when you stop the
hotspot, because you might be using Wi-Fi for something else at the same
time.

Then I realized, no, if you're running a hotspot you *can't* be using
Wi-Fi for anything else at the same time. Duh.

So, specification updated.

Matthias, I don't see the question you're referring to. Please report a
separate bug with a screenshot.

** Description changed:

  When I switch on hotspot and Wifi was off before, it asks me, if Wifi
  should be turned on too, which I think is fine.

- But when I later turn off hotspot, Wifi stays silently on and consumes energy.
- I think, in this case if Wifi was off before it should be turned off again.

+
+ <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Networking#hotspot>: "If Wi-Fi was turned on
+ automatically for hotspot use, turning off the hotspot should turn off
+ Wi-Fi automatically."

** Changed in: indicator-network (Ubuntu)
       Status: Confirmed => Triaged
